被授予“中国锁都”的温州，20世纪80年代中期，锁具生产以集体企业为主导，形成值达3000万元的产业群。80年代末期锁具企业就发展到了200多家，2001年发展到400多家，总产值50多亿元，锁具产品约占全国份额的65%以上。出口交易值16亿元，产品远锁世界60多个国家和地区。形成了以天宇、五洲、宝得利、坚士、霸力、华光等一批品牌企业为龙头的锁具生产基地。为适应发展需要，温州计划兴建占地2000多亩的中国（温州）锁都产业园区。集生产、科研、展销为一体，成为中国最大的制锁生产基地。

Wenzhou,be authorized a title of China Locks Metropolis,in the middle
period of the 80s of the 20th century, with collective-owned enterprises
as a pillar of locks producer, formed the industry group reaching
RMB￥30 million of output value;in the later stage of 80s, already
possessed over 200 locks enterprises; by2001, even contained more
than 400 the enterprises with gross output valve of above RMB￥5 billion,
over 65 percent proportion of national locks, export transaction valve

Metropolis Industrial Zone covered an area of more than 2000 Mu,designed
as the biggest locks production base, integrated with production,scientific,and
